Looking for a Shoreditch Studios Wedding Photographer?
Shoreditch Studios is one of my favourite East London wedding venues. Set in a working photographic studio, along with sister business Kachette; they both have a perfect urban aesthetic which works well whether you have a separate ceremony or have it in house. I’ve had couples head here from Asylum in Peckham, Islington Town Hall and Stoke Newington Town Hall.
Kachette has a slightly more urban, clubby feel; whereas Shoreditch – tucked neatly away down on Bateman’s Row feels calmer, more private and has it’s own little hidden courtyard – perfect for drinks in the sun, or for bringing in food trucks for your guests. The two interconnecting archways mean that the space evolves quite naturally through the day – you can hold a ceremony in the smaller arch, before heading into the bigger one for dining, and back again for dancing. And the long tables that work well in the space lend themselves so well to convivial communal dining too.
Every wedding I’ve shot at Shoreditch Studios has been so different, and I’ve shared some blog posts from weddings there below. One of the benefits of a dry hire venue is that you can make everything completely custom and have it just the way you want it to be; and if that seems like a daunting task, there are plenty of planners offering services to help ease things. From full planning, to a little bit of on the day co-ordination to make sure everything runs and smoothly as it can do.
