GLASTONBURY

September 11, 2013

Just a few moments captured from Glastonbury 2013 – it already feels like such a long time ago I barely know where to begin…

Deciding to lug my massive and heavy medium format camera down to Glastonbury was probably not the wisest decision, but I couldn’t be talked out of it, so armed with a couple of rolls of Kodak Portra I set about capturing a little bit of of the festival vibe. To be honest, there’s so much to see, you could spend your whole time just photographing the characters you meet – I just wanted to tell a teeny bit of the story.

So here’s to crazy unwashed hair, pints of Tuborg, the beautiful weather, amazing music, escaping the city, spending time with some of my best friends (who I don’t see often enough!), performance art, dirty converse, arty cafes in the Greenfields, a Sunday morning spent watching First Aid Kit and lounging by The Park stage, stupid slogan tees (of which there was many), dancing to reggae and rum cocktails in The Blues, late night madness in Shangri-La, Bonfires as the XX closed the Sunday night and the frantic wait to get a ticket for next year. See you in 2014 Somserset!
