Henry Moore Foundation wedding photography
Mel & Rob got married in the barn at the Henry Moore foundation – an open air gallery at his former home, dedicated to his works, and the barn, home to some, frankly exquisite, tapestries of his work is the setting for their wedding celebrations. Because of the artwork, there’s a few stipulations in place – including no flash photography – which certainly added an interesting element when it came to capturing the dancing. Theirs was a joyous day with nods to Mel’s Aussie upbringing in the flowers and styling, and Rob’s Northern upbringing in the tunes and further tributes to Bowie in the form of their tipi bar, their love of music in the carefully curated playlists, some of London’s finest pubs in the form of table names and their love of art and design and a lion dance involving oranges being thrown at their guests, who’d travelled from all over the world to celebrate with them.
