A Somerset wedding at Maunsel House.
A beautiful and quintessentially English wedding with bucket loads of fun thrown in for good measure. Kate & Andy chose Maunsel House in Somerset for their gorgeous August nuptials- the house itself, a sprawling pile full of taxidermy, suits of armour, decommissioned weaponry and crazy art was the perfect setting for a weekend that was just a little bit like a decadent house party.
Kate and her bridesmaids got ready in her Aunt’s beautiful old cottage, full of wooden beams and wonky but thick walls (serious property envy!) before hopping in a car to the ceremony at the church in Maunsel Village, after the ceremony they invited everyone to follow them and find out all about their mystery wedding transport, which turned out to be the Maunsel Lady – a beautiful canal boat with enough seats for the bridal party and plenty of procecco to drink!
Add to that a vintage bus, a boat ride in a beautiful canal boat, Kate’s gorgeous Loeffler Randall holographic shoes, Blind malibu tastings, a conga and plenty of dance floor mayhem.
