So, I’ve just returned from spending a week in a field at the wonderful Fforest with 79 other photographers at the Snap photo festival, and my mind is full to bursting with ideas, theories, things to do, change, improve and ammend. With that very much at the forefront of my mind, here’s my first blog post since I got back. Katharine & Judd’s wedding at Mc Motors in Dalston was also mind blowing in so many ways.
Katharine & Judd are awesome – a pairing that couldn’t be more suited, and their beautiful and touching humanist ceremony performed by Zena Birch nearly had me in tears – a pattern which followed throughout a large chunk of the day! Mc Motors is ridiculously photogenic, I mean, it’s a photographic studio so, duh, but this wedding was about way more than stuff that looked nice. That said Katharine is truly stunning, a timeless beauty and super lovely to boot. Judd works in TV and film, and as such you might recognise honorary groomsman and MC as Mark Gatiss, the all-round polymath but best known to me as one of the League of Gentlemen. There was laughter, tears, dirty dancing, copious amounts of wine, festival face painting (and I got mine done too) by the awesome In Your Dreams.
2015 has really kicked off in truly epic style and I can’t wait to work with each one of my fantastic, couples and get to know you all a little better – share in the laughter, tears and good times.
