Emily & Gordon – a Super Fun Outdoor Affair

Emily & Gordon’s self described ‘wonky wedding’ was held in the beautiful gardens of her parent’s home in Suffolk. With an outdoor humanist ceremony, a hand decorated canvas marquee, (it’s fair to say) some fairly drunken ceilidhing, and Adnam’s beer.The wedding was a family affair, with Emily’s beautiful dress and cape designed by her Aunt Henrietta.A classic British summer day, with intermittent crazily intense rain and the most beautiful sunshine, this is really one of my all-time favourites. And I loved the fact that it was Emily, and not Gordon who drove her Dad’s much beloved old car away from the wedding, and turned it round in a tiny country lane.

I’m going to keep this write up short, and give you more time to take in quite how beautiful this day was.
