BETH & DAVE – AN UNCONVENTIONAL NORFOLK WEDDING AT HOME

Beth & Dave had a gloriously unconventional wedding in North West Norfolk. Though they legally tied the knot the Thursday before, they chose to have a big party in Beth’s parents back garden to officially celebrate their day. They kept it as low key as possible, with no formal ‘ceremony’ instead just some speeches, and having lots of their wonderful friends and family speak about their relationship. They spent the morning prepping the tipi that the party took place in, before hopping across the to the Gin Trap to casually get ready together (BTW if you are ever in that part of the world, go there, they really do an amazing G&T and have so many varieties)

And the  rest of the day was pure party, pure emotion, pure fun. Who wouldn’t want their wedding that way?

Beth wore a gorgeous ‘non wedding’ dress by Wilden Bride though the print was designed by Lauren Thomas Designs. And the log slice table settings were cut by Dave (who is a tree surgeon) and laser engraved by the school Beth works for. These guys were a bit bloody fab, and I wish everyone had the confidence to do their wedding their way.
