MILE END ECOLOGY PAVILLION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Hong is the younger sister of Suong, one the of the bride’s whose wedding I shot in my first ever year (2011!!) so it was a massive complement when she got back in touch about her wedding to Andy this year. They married in a ceremony at Tower Hamlets Town Hall before heading down the road to the Ecology Pavillion in Mile End Park. Hidden away under a mound of earth, and tucked just away from the hustle and bustle of the Regents Canal, the Pavillion is a beautiful bright space, bordered by water and greenery.

One exciting little gem from the day – myself and Laura from This Modern Revelry managed to find a little concrete vestibule in amongst the neat and businesslike interior of the Hilton Canary Wharf that absolutely made our day. Their guests, especially Hong’s Vietnamese family and Andy’s Mum, hit the dancefloor hard. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wedding go off quite like theirs before the sun even set.
