SOPHIE & NICK – ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT HOLKHAM BEACH

Norfolk engagement sessions

Some of you might know that I recently moved out of London, and we’ve bought a big house in beautiful Norwich. Whilst I’m still working all over the country (nay the world) it’s really wonderful to have a chance to shoot in the absolute beauty that is the Norfolk countryside, and beaches! Having spent the last 12 years living in a place where to get to the nearest beach on a sunny day is a complete mission, the novelty of being 30 minutes away from salty shores has not worn off yet.

And so we come to this shoot – Sophie & Nick are getting married in London, and they kindly took a weekend out and travelled to North Norfolk (staying in the delightful Burnham Market at the Hoste Arms) so we could do this shoot on the amazing Holkham beach – with the low winter sun, it was almost like an alien landscape – huge expanses of sand worn into wave patterns by the sea, and pine forests that wouldn’t look out of place in the Pacific North West of the USA. I’m sure you’ll agree it was worth the journey!
