Admiral’s House wedding at the Greenwich Naval College

Caroline and Daniel held a London wedding in April of 2024 that was both incredibly chic and stylish and super fun. Combining a wedding ceremony in the elegant surroundings of the Admiral’s House at the Greenwich Naval College, a boat trip along the Thames and a wedding reception at Trinity Buoy Wharf’s Chainstore, which is forever my favourite London venue with it’s iconic lighthouse.

After the ceremony, and photos in the iconic pillared Collonades of the Naval College grounds, we all boarded a party boat at Greenwich Pier and sailed down the River to Trinity Buoy Wharf – I’ve always loved the high/low contrast between the grandeur of spaces like the Naval College and hopping on a party boat with pints in plastic cups. At Trinity Buoy Wharf we were greeted by a Turkish drummer and Zurna player who greeted the guests and led Caroline and Daniel, through a shower of confetti to dance with Daniel’s Turkish family. They hired illustrator Riah Mae to create bespoke gouache portraits of their guests which was a unique touch that I adored. We were treated to an absolutely exceptional golden hour from up at Trinity Buoy Wharf’s lighthouse too, before an epic party to round the night off.

Old Royal naval College wedding venues

The Old Royal Naval College has a number of venues that you can hire for your wedding celebration including the iconic Painted Hall, you can opt, just like Caroline and Daniel, to hold just your ceremony there on a dry hire basis or plan the whole day through to the evening party.

London Wedding Photographer

I’m a wedding photographer with a stylish and relaxed approach to your day. On the one hand I want you to feel like you’re in a magazine, a cool one though, not like you’re a reality TV star selling your wedding to OK Magazine, but I also want you to have cool, documentary photos of the rest of the day that don’t feel like they take over. I use a mix of digital and 35mm film and work throughout London, East Anglia and the South East. View my wedding portfolio here.
