Best of 2024

My favourite wedding images of 2024

I’m not going to lie, sitting down to share my ‘best of 2024’ images when we’re in the third month of 2025 feels a little – well – a little silly, I usually compile this post at the end of the year, and in truth I could have done it at any point up until now, but after thirteen years of photographing weddings, I’ve actually allowed myself to enjoy having a very slow start to the year, reading lots of books, a personal (non-photo) project and all of that kind of thing.

Nevertheless I still love doing it, there’s something magical about curating a while body of work, to pick out the images that light you up and fill you with excitement. To share the kind of work that you want to be booked for, that you want couples and clients to fall in love with too. It’s an opportunity to define your visual style, and to put some of your favourite images into your forever portfolio, to see your progress. As ever it’s always a gut instinct selection process. I chose the images I like on quite a quick basis, it’s impossible to curate the images from some 45 or so weddings any other way. I’m hoping I’ll maybe make a video highlights reel too, but that’s a job for another day.

Another thing I find, is that it’s a useful exercise, as well, in finding what kind of work feeds your soul. The kind of weddings I love, the kind of couples I want to work for – and I think it’s evident as ever in this body of work. Kind, thoughtful couples planning days that reflect them, people who are interested in style and design but for themselves, not because they saw it on Tiktok. Days filled with friends, music, hugs regardless of whether they were big or small. A Town Hall wedding in the middle of London being as intentional as a wonderful woodland celebration.

So if any of this vibes with you, and you’re getting married at the end of 2025, or in 2026, then do get in touch and we can chat some more about what I can do for you. I have the extreme privilege of being pretty much fully booked at weekends now until the end of October (I still have space for some weekday weddings) and I hate being one of those wedding suppliers adding to all the noise by telling you to pin down the people you want to work with early, but somehow this year it’s been true and I’ve had to send the ‘sorry I’m booked’ message to so many wonderful wedding enquiries.

Enough waffle from me, I hope you enjoy these every bit as much as I did taking them.
