Where to start with this one – firstly, this is an extremely epically long post, so grab your beverage of choice (and you have my permission to make it a glass of wine) and get comfy.

Fforest definitely has a kind of magic – it’s remote and beautiful, rustic but considered and I totally fell in love with it when I first visited for Snap back in April and so I was really excited to visit again for Carly & Al’s wedding in mid September.

So this is what went down – the most incredible sunset, cigar smoking, festival style raving wrapped in scarves and hats, bonfires, Norwegian friends performing the most heart rending song, hugs, Jager hidden in bushes, camping, a hog roast and a humanist wedding ceremony, Grandmas getting down on the dancefloor and the most accurate rendition of the Glastonbury line up in the form of a table plan ever.
