TRAVEL MORE: LISBON
One of the promises I made myself going into 2016 was that I would work less and travel more – in the rush of the first few years of getting up the business, the concept of a Summer holiday, let alone keeping weekends in the middle of the Summer free, was a totally alien concept. And although I haven’t quite managed to work less (2016 has possibly been the busiest year ever!) I have managed to travel more – this Summer alone I’ve been to Lisbon, Copenhagen and San Sebastian, as well as Bordeaux for work, and I’ve loved every minute of it. So here’s to taking time to see the world, to stop, breathe, dip in the sea and drink some wine. And ignoring the fact that a slim majority of the UK wants to divorce itself from everything that Europe has to offer us.
I’m sure I’ll be sharing some of the images from my other travels later this year (though you can see some already on my Instagram) but first of all I wanted to share some of the colours and textures of the fabulouslessly photogenic Lisbon – all sun drenched plazas, Azulejo tiles and crumbling plaster work, it looks sensational on film, and so I wanted to share some of my film photos from my trip here. Here’s to continuing the adventures throughout 2017!
All shot on Kodak Portra 160.
I am also available for destination wedding assignments throughout Europe and the wider world, get in touch and let me know a little bit more about your plans for a bespoke quote.
