ZIQI & JAMES – A TINY DESTINATION WEDDING

CHATEAU RIGAUD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Ziqi and James had an intimate destination wedding at the gorgeous Chateau Rigaud in Bordeaux, France. This was my second time at the Chateau, and it was just as gorgeous as the first.

After getting ready as the sun beat down on the land, Ziqi and James held a tea ceremony for their friends and family who had travelled from Singapore to be with them before their wedding on the lawn. After that they feasted at a table on the lawn as the sun set, with lots of wine and lots of toasting. The team at the chateau are superb – the styling is always spot on.

This time around it was made slightly easier by the fact I was actually able to hire a car (last time I went in 2013, I hadn’t passed my driving test!) and zipping round the beautiful French countryside in a sporty little Fiat 500 was rather special, and I was able to take a little trip the day after the wedding to the town of St Emilion, famous for it’s particular variety of red wine.
