I can’t say enough nice things about Arti & Jonas’ incredible Barns at Lodge Farm wedding. First off, the two of them, so warm, friendly and natural and always up for my ideas like ‘just stand in that field over there’. Second of all their friends and family were a total delight and thirdly, the venue. There’s plenty of venues I’ve been to where the welcome was anything less than warm, where photographers are sometimes treated as a bit of an annoyance. That couldn’t have been further from the case at the Barns at Lodge Farm, where a special shout out has to go to Nina, the co-ordinator.

Their celebration was filled with love, colour, two different wedding ceremonies and three sets of outfits. With a Hindu ceremony in the venue’s field in the morning, followed by a delicious vegetarian lunch; the afternoon introduced a handful of Lithuanian traditions, as a nod to Jonas’ homeland. A second ceremony in The Granary at The Barns before speeches and dancing in The Grain Store.

A truly rustic wedding venue, The Barns at Lodge Farm in Epping is the perfect stylish yet simple wedding venue, that’s only just beyond the reaches of the Central Line. It also has the most epic spot for sundown photos, as I’m sure you’ll see!
