When Nadia & Joseph got in touch about doing just videography for their Marylebone Town Hall micro wedding back in August 2023, I was super thrilled. First off, I really enjoy creating my wedding highlights films, it challenges me and I’ve had so much fun trying something new out, secondly their chosen photographer was the very wonderful Nigel John, so I knew they had excellent taste.
It was the first time I’d not created a wedding film as part of a photography package, but I really enjoyed it. Helped of course by the fact that Nadia & Joseph are one of the most stylish couples I’ve had in front of my camera and had picked just THE BEST location in Clapton to get ready, which really set the tone for the whole afternoon and because their teeny tiny intimate wedding was just them and a few members of Joseph’s family – we got to spend plenty of time getting some yummy footage of the two of them.
As well as their full length edit, I’m find it a joy and delight to create a short form edit for Instagram reels – just 90 seconds of all the fun stuff.
Are you getting married at Marylebone Town Hall and thinking about whether you should book a wedding videographer?
I think it’s super easy to assume that if you’re having a London Town Hall wedding, that maybe you don’t need video – it’s an extra expense or maybe feels a little bit grand for such a tiny wedding, but I hope that Nadia & Joseph’s super cool wedding video can perhaps persuade you otherwise.
