SUTTON HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Shoko & Mike are both architects, having met at the Glasgow School of Art, they now live together in Hackney and chose to get married at the National Trust’s Sutton House in Hackney Central. A gorgeous old Tudor House in the middle of the city, a place that has had many iterations through the years but has now found a home as one of the National Trust’s more forward thinking and community minded locations.

Comprising a traditional sake ceremony, a beautiful multi layered kimono covered in lucky cranes, abandoned vehicles, appropriating car lights to make a beautiful background for some portraits, ceilidh-ing, Sutton House’s contrasting textures and structure and buckets of love and fun, this was a pretty special day to be part of.
