Printhouse Stratford Wedding

REBECCA & MICHAEL AT THE PRINTHOUSE

PRINTHOUSE STRATFORD WEDDING

Rebecca and Michael are one of those couples that you really fall a little bit in love with. Every wedding is incredible, an adventure, but when you work with couples that are open and honest, that’s what really really makes this job special, and I think I’m lucky that I get to fall a little bit in love with all of the couples I work with. They had a non denominational celebrant led ceremony performed by their friend Amanda who prepared something entirely unique for them involving a hand tying with all of their guests holding the ribbons, ceremonial sweeping and a broom jumping. I loved it, and hearing the story about Michael dashing, secretly, to Birmingham to buy an engagement ring, only to come home, place himself on the sofa like he’d been absolutely nowhere and get a little bit told off for his lack of activity, was priceless.

They chose the Printhouse in Stratford, a gorgeous industrial bar on the river Lea in East London, a stones throw from where they were living. All exposed brick and big windows, and a hop skip and a jump away from the beautiful pastel coloured Sugarhouse Studios AKA London’s most Instagrammed wall, which of course had to be used for some of their photos.

Here’s just a few frames from their incredible day.
