ST JOHN’S BREAD & WINE WEDDING

I haven’t blogged in aeons, I was reminded of this last week when I was out shooting a wedding and Erin, the bride, said she’s really missed seeing new blog posts. So oooops. This year has been spent doing lots of travelling, shooting and, more or less at all other times, editing, and so anything that seems ‘ancillary’ like blogging has been parked temporarily. I genuinely think this year has been one of the busiest ever, but I know you all want to see more work, and that the fleeting glimpses of Instagram just aren’t enough, so without further ado, here’s Amanda & Daniel’s wedding from June.

They kept it simple, stylish and London-ish and both being artists, this came quite naturally. After their ceremony at Islington Town Hall they head to St John Bread & Wine in Spitalfields for a foodie celebration, complete with suckling piglets. The simple, almost industrial space of St John looked incredible with foliage from Jam Jar Flowers and hand glazed and fired pots with succulents, made by Amanda herself.

As always it was a huge privilege to work alongside Kylie McMichael who did Amanda’s hair and makeup, and her gorgeous dress was from Erdem.
